Introduction:

This Paneer Tikka Sandwich recipe is a culinary fusion, blending the best of Indian and Western flavors. The paneer, marinated in a medley of spices and cooked to perfection, offers a smoky, savory delight. Nestled between slices of bread with a medley of fresh vegetables and a touch of chutney, it creates a harmonious balance of tastes and textures. The use of Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil ensures a light and healthy preparation, enhancing the overall flavor profile.

Ingredients:

  For the Paneer Tikka:

  • 200g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil

For the Sandwich: 8 slices of bread

  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • Green chutney (optional)

Instructions:
Step 1 : Marinate the Paneer: In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Add the paneer cubes and mix well, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 2 : Cook the Paneer Tikka: Heat Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer cubes and cook until they are golden brown and slightly charred on all sides. You can also grill the paneer in a tandoor or oven for a more authentic flavor.
Step 3 : Prepare the Sandwich: Lightly toast the bread slices. Spread green chutney or butter/mayonnaise on one side of each slice (optional). Layer the cooked paneer tikka, chopped onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers (if using) on the bread slices. Cover with the remaining bread slices.
Step 4 : Grill the Sandwich: Heat a sandwich griller or pan over medium heat. Place the sandwiches on the griller and cook until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Step 5 : Serve: Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot with your favorite chutney or dip.
