Introduction:
Paneer Paratha is a beloved Indian flatbread that seamlessly blends the flavors of soft paneer cheese with the comforting warmth of whole wheat flour. This flavorful fusion is a popular breakfast, lunch, or dinner option, enjoyed across India and beyond.
Ingredients:
• 2 cups whole wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil
• Water, as needed
• 200g paneer, crumbled
• 1 green chili, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
• 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
• 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
• 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
• Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
• Ghee, for cooking
Instructions:
Step 1 : Make the Dough:
• In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and 1 tablespoon of Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil.
• Gradually add water and knead into a soft and pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2 : Prepare the Filling:
• In a bowl, combine crumbled paneer, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
Step 3 : Shape the Parathas:
• Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
• Roll each ball into a thin circle.
• Place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center.
• Bring the edges together and seal tightly.
• Gently roll out the stuffed dough into a circle.
Step 4 : Cook the Parathas:
• Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat.
• Cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown and slightly crisp.
• Apply ghee to both sides while cooking for added flavor.
Step 5 : Serve:
• Serve hot Paneer Parathas with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
