Fish Fingers are a crispy and delicious evening snack made with tender fish fillets coated in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, then fried to golden perfection. Crunchy on the outside and soft inside, they pair perfectly with mayonnaise for a delightful tea-time treat.

Evening snacks are an important part of our tea time conversations. Good snacks help us to lift our mood which will certainly result in better conversations. Follow this easy yet tasty recipe to make one of the iconic evening snack dishes – Fish Finger using Purti mustard oil!

INGREDIENTS:
– Plain Flour,
– 3 tbsp – Egg, beaten
– Golden breadcrumbs (Fresh white breadcrumbs would also do)
– 500g skinless white fish fillets
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper
– Purti Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil

PREPARATION:
– Put the flour inside a big bowl and season with salt and black pepper.
– Pour the egg in a shallow dish and beat it. Add a pinch of salt.
– In another shallow dish put the breadcrumbs.
– Cut the fish fillets into sticks and gently toss each piece in the seasoned flour bowl till it is evenly coated.
– Then dip it into the beaten egg and then into the breadcrumbs until evenly coated and put aside on a plate.
– Heat Purti Kachi Ghani Purti Mustard Oil in a frying pan.
– Add the fish finger fillets carefully and fry for 5–6 minutes until golden brown and crisp on all sides.
– Take it out and place the fried fish fingers on paper tissue to absorb the excess oil.
– Serve the fish fingers with mayonnaise.
