It's time to re-live those memories by making delicious Paneer Bread Pakoras at your home. Paneer Bread Pakoras have a nice paneer veggie filling which also has a melange of spices. This recipe doesn't use potatoes but if you want you can combine mashed potatoes in the paneer filling. Also, the paneer bread pakoras are deep-fried to get that extra crunch. If you're health-conscious, opt for baking your pakoras. You can also shallow fry them in less quantity of Purti Vegetable oil. Serve your pakoras with mint chutney or tomato sauce or any other dip of your choice. Pair up this yummy snack with a piping hot cup of tea or coffee for a wholesome combo. Ingredients of Paneer Bread Pakora - 1 cup grated paneer - 1/4 cup boiled, crushed lightly peas - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida - 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper - 1/4 cup grated carrot - 1 teaspoon red chilli powder - 1 1/2 cup gram flour (besan) - 8 slices whole-wheat bread - Salt as required - 1 cup Purti vegetable oil How to make Paneer Bread Pakora Step 1: Prepare the stuffing: In a bowl, add paneer, peas, carrot, coriander, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and salt. Mix everything well. Now, divide the stuffing into 4 parts. Step 2: Place the stuffing on bread: Take one slice of bread and evenly spread the stuffing on it. Top the stuffing with another bread slice and press gently to enclose it. Now cut the bread slices with the stuffing into 2 equal parts. Step 3: Make the besan batter: In a bowl, add besan, 1 cup water, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, salt, and asafoetida. Whisk the mixture gently to form a smooth batter. Now, dip the bread slices into the batter. Make sure the batter gets evenly coated on the slices. Step 4: Fry the bread slices: Heat Purti Vegetable oil in a kadhai and then slowly add the stuffed bread pieces to it. Fry them until they turn slightly brown in colour. Repeat the step to fry all the pakoras Once they are crisp, transfer them to an absorbent paper. Step 5: Your Paneer Bread Pakora is ready: Once done, line the bread pakoras on a serving plate. Your Paneer Bread Pakora is ready now. Serve it alongside mint chutney or tomato chutney. Tips 1. If you want the pakoras to be healthy, bake them in an oven. 2. You can add more veggies if you want and then prepare the paneer stuffing.
